NEW VICTORY THEATER presents

a COLLABORATIONTOWN & FLINT REPERTORY THEATRE co-production

RIDDLE OF THE TRILOBITES

a new musical for the whole family, set underwater 500 million years ago

CHECK OUT A TRAILER HERE.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming New York Premiere of RIDDLE OF THE TRILOBITES, a puppet-filled, all-ages musical set underwater, 500 million years ago, directed by two-time Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans. It's an engrossing adventure story about how Trilobites responded to major ecological changes that threatened their existence. With the fate of her kind on her armored shoulders, one young Trilo named Aphra sets off on an epic journey with her best friends to find out if the ocean really is changing, and how to solve an ancient riddle that will tell them how to go forward into the future.

riddle of the trilobites needs your help!

CTown's Big Picture Goals for this show have been 1) to reach even more children and families with a timely play about our connection to our planet and its changing climate, and 2) to perform it at the theater where it was initially developed, in NYC, our hometown. We are so close to achieving our Big Picture Goals - and need help to cross the finish line.

As a community-supported nonprofit arts organization, we relied on you to make the Flint premier a success, and we are so grateful. But, bringing this show to The New Victory is a huge step uptown (literally and figuratively) for CTown - and we need your help.

Today we launch our Trilobite Homecoming Campaign. We have 2 weeks to raise $10,000 - and thanks to a generous pledge from long-time CTown supporters Michael Todd Cohen & Adrian Frandle - if we hit our goal ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MATCHED. Will you please consider making a fully tax-deductible donation of $50 or more by October 9th? Remember, with the match, if you donate $50, you're really donating $100!

And if you donate $250 or more, you will be specially listed in show programs under "CTown Special Thanks," as follows:

  • $250 - be listed as a Trilobite Elder

  • $500 - be listed as a Grand Elder

  • $1,000 - be listed as Isotelus Rex (the biggest and wisest Trilobite)

  • $2,500 or higher - you will be listed as an Associate Producer!
